Maryland Case Could End States' AR-15 Bans

This 4th Circuit ruling found that the semiautomatic rifles and magazines that hold more than a certain number of rounds which are banned by Maryland's Firearm Safety Act "are in common use by law-abiding citizens." Therefore, they can't be banned as being "unusual"--an exception to the right to bear arms carved out by the U.S. Supreme Court.
